Briefing

Design and edit a book with the concept of "conflict" at the heart.

Proposal

Create a two-sided book explaining a conflict of morals. The main character, the Yakuza. ヤクザ (Good for Nothing) shows us their values and also their dark side, and how they became what they are today.

Contribution

A deep insight of the Yakuza's influence over Japanese society that is going to take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotion and distress.

Production

Designed in a way to make the chapters about their dark side more conflicting to read and consume. Whilst talking their good side is done in a more traditional way that we are more accustomed to.
