Briefing

Wallie responds to a triple challenge: establishing a formal relationship with the Wallapop logo, expressing the essential values of the brand and achieving excellent functionality on all mobile devices.

Proposal

Wallie has been designed based on formal features of the logo: circular structure and links between letters, which in the new typography are translated into gestural serifs. Texture and details express friendliness and accessibility.

Contribution

Wallie is the new Wallapop corporate typeface, the app to buy and sell items used by millions of users. Skinny, Fit and Chunkie make up the whole family.

Production

A tailor-made hinting has been developed to optimize visualization on low resolution devices. It incorporates the use of features which permit an exchange of glyphs in letter combinations. Details that provide identity.
