Repensar Guernica

Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía

Envisaged as an archive of archives and made up of more than 2,000 documents from 120 public and private archives and national and international agencies, the website is a tool of open knowledge that is constantly evolving.

Through a powerful search engine and interactive timeline, the painting can be explored via 4 technical studies: visible light (Gigapixel), ultraviolet, infrared light and x-ray imaging to provide a more in-depth view of the work.

A website containing the most in-depth collection of documents on Picasso's Guernica, along with a Gigapixel study of the work.

Spanish and English versions. This website is the result of two years' research and stems from the collaboration between different professionals: developers, designers, UX consultants, restorers and art historians.
