BLANK STREETS

Client
OBRA SOCIAL LA CAIXA

Briefing

Obra Social "la Caixa" wanted to raise awareness about the importance of research to detect early Alzheimer's symptoms in a noticeable and surprising way.

Proposal

We made an action that consisted of leaving the street name plates of a whole neighborhood of Barcelona blank to generate an experience and experience the first symptoms of Alzheimer's: the disorientation and forgetting of common names.

Contribution

We turn an urban element as common as forgotten because of technology, into an object with a new meaning and a powerful message.

Production

We created white vinyl tailored to cover the plates of the neighborhood of Grace and installed them a day before the World Alzheimer's Day, with an explanation below each one that resolved the experience.
