Briefing

Identity for a gastronomic space located in an old factory. It's a space where you can learn, cook, taste and, above all, experiment with gastronomy.

Proposal

Embracing the concept of "experience" from a temporal and sensorial point of view, we take over the use of "stains" as a trace of a gastronomic experience.

Contribution

Based on an old Japanese printing technique, Gyotaku, which uses physical elements as a form of print, we've generated a typeface and a suite of illustrative elements using the "stain" across the whole visual identity.

Production

Production has played a key role in the outcome since it is through the printing process that we achieve to suggest the idea of "stains", whether this is through the typeface, the illustrations or the signage.
